Determinant Factors in The Decision to Use Qris Among Generation Z

Abstract

In this era of digital globalization, technological developments, especially in Indonesia, have advanced rapidly in various aspects of an individual's life, particularly for Generation Z in the economic changes that have innovated into digital money transactions. Digital technology has brought significant changes to the payment system to make decisions about using QRIS as digital payment. This research aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle, perceived ease of use, security, trust and financial literacy on Generation Z's decision to use QRIS. The analysis method in this study uses quantitative primary data, with a stage test: validity test, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, multiple linear regression, F test, t test and multiple determination coefficients (R2). The instrument used was a questionnaire and valid data were collected as many as 125 respondents. The sampling method in this study was non probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The testing tool used is SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the variables of lifestyle, perceived ease, security, trust and financial literacy have a simultaneous and partial have a significant effect on the decision to use QRIS among generation Z as digital payment. Ands the most dominant variable on generation Z’s decision to use QRIS is the trust variable.
